If you use the Website on behalf of a company, household, or another person, you represent that you have authority to act for them.

Website Purpose

The Website provides general information about People Movers and allows visitors to contact us or request information about potential moving-related services.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes. It is not a binding quote, guaranteed price, reservation, or promise that a particular service, crew, truck, date, time, or location is available.

Quotes, Bookings, and Moving Services

Submitting a form, sending an email, calling us, or receiving an automated confirmation does not by itself create a booking or moving-services contract. A move is scheduled only after People Movers expressly confirms the booking and the parties complete any required service documents.

Any actual moving services may be governed by additional documents, including an estimate, order for service, bill of lading, service agreement, tariff, payment authorization, cancellation policy, or other written terms supplied for the move. Those service-specific documents control if they conflict with these Website Terms.

Quotes and estimates are based on the information available when they are prepared. Pricing, timing, crew size, equipment, and other details may change if the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, the scope changes, access conditions differ, or other circumstances affect the move. Any change will be handled under the applicable service documents and law.

Customer Information and Responsibilities

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when contacting us or requesting a quote. This may include contact information, addresses, inventory, access conditions, stairs or elevators, parking restrictions, dates, timing, special handling needs, and other details relevant to the request.

You are responsible for reviewing communications and service documents, asking questions before accepting a quote or booking, and promptly telling us about material changes. Do not submit sensitive information through a general Website form unless the form specifically requests it. Sensitive information includes Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical records, and government-issued identification numbers.

Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Payment requirements, deposits, accepted payment methods, cancellation terms, rescheduling terms, and any refund eligibility will be stated in the applicable quote, booking confirmation, service agreement, or other service-specific document.

Governing Law and Disputes

Any dispute relating solely to the Website or these Terms may be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction over the location of People Movers’ principal place of business, and each party consents to that court’s jurisdiction and venue.

Washington Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms waives rights or remedies available under applicable federal, Washington State, or local consumer-protection and household-goods transportation laws. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with a non-waivable legal requirement, the legal requirement controls.
